If they keep running their boats into the ground they will have nothing left to rent.

We took the boat out for a spin and it had ZERO BALLS. With three people it ran 24mph. It's advertised at 35-40 mph. I called and told them it was running ruff, josh told me bring it back and he'd check it out.

I would not spend my money here.

We returned the boat two hours early bc the engine started cutting out and missing on a few cylinders really bad. Oil was leaking EVERYWHERE. WE BARELY MADE IT BACK. Josh didn't care, still charged us full price and sent me down the road. That engine is TOAST.

Took the boat back, he ran it, saw it running like trash. Checked the prop and it was all bent up. I was disappointed due to the fact I knew with 13 people we would only run 15 mph with this motor running ruff and that prop. Josh basically gave me two options, deal with it or return it - knowing we had a full boat and no other options for the day.

We kept the boat and just dealt with it. Spent $500 on tubes we couldn't use bc the boat was too slow.

Arrived, boat was dirty. Like dirty dirty. This boat has been ran hard and put up wet. Looks like little to no maintenance. The seats had tears / stains etc etc. that's no big deal.

Love this place!! Got a last minute room in the romantic getaway and it couldn't have been more perfect. The jacuzzi tub could have held my Jeep. The owner George was so accommodating and welcoming. We got invited to have a drink with him after my husband locked our key cards in the room. He played the piano and accordion and sang for us. It was awesome. He sang in his native Austrian and it was very culturally enlightening. If you ever get around Sunset Beach, Burnet, or Kingsland you definitely have to visit. The rooms are antiquated and charming and the bar and grill are great!! Can't wait to go back.

If you have a Honda outboard do yourself a favor, and keep it as far away from this place as possible. We paid them over $7k for a rebuild. It ran well, but kept shutting down. We brought it back 3 times and they never could fix it, and they charged us all 3 times. They kept treating it like a fuel system issue, but it turned out to be an overheating problem due to leaving out a $20 seal. The seal on the other side was there but torn up so bad that it wasn't recognizable. That's ok...they just smeared some silicone on it, which came loose and clogged a cooling port. If that isn't enough the last service they did for me they didn't even seat the spark plugs. I could twist them out with just a socket on an extension and my fingers. No wrench needed as they had no torque. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere but here for your Honda outboard repairs and service.

Great customer service. Helped me every inch of the way. Very friendly and kind ans they fet the job done. Business is business and friends are friends and lake lbj resort and marina is a happy median cant wait to go back

Long story short I paid $1150 for a boat that was advertised as being new and very nice. I got a turd that was dirty and running in half it's cylinders.

We had a crowd of 13 people and wanted to rent a NICE boat for the day. Called around, spoke to josh ( initially was very nice ) and we made a deal on a "$96,000" boat. 2016 manitou xolode with a 225hp on back.

First, I HATE to rate any business with one star. I don't do it lightly. Here is my experience and you can judge for yourself.

EVERYONE on our boat had a blast!! Staff was as friendly as you expect Texans to conduct themselves. It is a bit of a drive, but definitely worth it. Plus Texas hillcountry views are magnificent.
